Office Administrator
Hours
Full-time Monday to Friday. Minimum of 30 hours per week, but can be flexible on daily hours.
Role
To work within the Business Team which currently consists of 3 members of staff. Within the team tasks covered are on areas such as HR, Payroll, Insurance, Legal, Health & Safety, Premises and IT. The team also provide general support function to the wider Barracudas team.
You will support the team with general administrative tasks and during your induction will be trained in all areas, however you will have their own area of responsibility as shown below.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for the premises – arranging maintenance visits, liaising with suppliers, contractors on-site, utilities
Health & Safety –audits, policies and procedures, staff training, updating H&S Database
Insurance – property, liability, cyber and any other relevant policies, renewal process, annual review, day to day communication
GPDR – co-ordinating working party and tasks, audit, checking systems and processes are being followed and policy updates
Office equipment – ensuring best use of equipment, fixing issues, purchasing new kit and liaising with suppliers
General administrative duties e.g. emails, post, scanning, photocopying, ordering stationery, supplies and gifts
Ongoing research tasks, obtaining quotations for the team
One off projects
Responsible for assisting the Team with getting all Camp IT equipment ready for our operating seasons – e.g. Camp mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
Training – research, booking courses, costings and keeping records.
General office support to the Business Team
As we are a seasonal business, in the lead up and during the holiday season, you will be expected to take on additional tasks, full training will be given.
This is not an exhaustive list and you will be expected to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 1 year's office experience
A proactive approach to tasks
Computer literate with good working knowledge in all Microsoft applications
Able to demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational, communication and time management skills
Ability to prioritise
Ability to work on own initiative

Temp Customer Service and Sales Administrator
Temporary position. June - August
Hours & rate
Full-time Monday to Friday. £7.75-£9.75 per hour.
Seasonal hours:
June - 15th July – 09.00-17.30 July 18th - August – 08.00-18.00
Specific roles within the teams will be discussed at the interview stage but some duties are detailed below:
Main responsibilities:
Answer incoming sales and customer service calls, acting as the first point of contact
Take bookings for our seasonal camps
Upsell promotions and offers
Amend bookings
Accurately update customer accounts as required
Respond to general sales enquires in writing through email
Make outbound sales and customer service calls
Efficiently manage daily tasks set my line manager
Investigate and resolve customer feedback/queries
Liaise with camp staff regarding customer questions, queries and bookings
Carry out adhoc duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:
Previous administration experience
Ability to communicate effectively with customers both verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure to strict deadlines
Able to demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy
Good ICT skills including use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
Professional telephone manner
