HAF spaces at Barracudas
In 2018 the Government launched the Holiday Activities and Food programme to provide support in the school holidays for children who receive free school meals.
Barracudas is pleased to be able to offer a number of HAF bookings at selected camps, working in collaboration with local authorities.
This holiday provision is for school aged children from reception to year 11 (inclusive) who receive benefits-related free school meals.

The programmes are organised with the local authority, bookings can only be taken in your residing local authority.
Each authority operates differently.
You will either be provided with a code which you will need to quote at the time of booking over the telephone with our customer service team, or you book through an online portal.
Links will be supplied by your local authority.
All children in reception to Year 11 who receive benefits related Free School Meals are eligible to receive up to 64 hours of holiday childcare with food. Some local authorities offer funded places to children in other circumstances as well, details can be found on individual local authority websites.
Your local authority will be able to provide you with advice on if you are eligible for this service.
You can choose either a hot or cold lunch for your child.
We will take this information from you at the time of booking, including if your child has any dietary requirements or allergies.
Your child will take part in our full range of activities.
With 80+ activities and 6 sessions a day, there'll be plenty of fun things for them to do. From sports and teambuilding to arts and crafts and specialist activities, they'll be living their best lives at camp!

Children are grouped with others of a similar age where the maximum age difference of children in a group will generally not be more than two years.
We group the children by taking the youngest on roll to form the first group and then continue this process for all of the children booked in for that particular week, based on our maximum group sizes for each age band.
Siblings are not automatically grouped together. Children are grouped according to the appropriate age groups.
