Official Ofsted approval for Chelmsford camp!

The officials from Ofsted visited our activity camp in Chelmsford this summer and we’re pleased to be able to confirm that we've hit the mark again this year.

Our Chelmsford camp has been registered with Ofsted since 1999 and this is the camp’s 5th inspection. We’re thrilled that Barracudas Chelmsford camp meets our exceptional standards and has been rated Outstanding again this year.

The inspector noted

Children are extremely excited as they enter the activity camp and are exceedingly eager to join in. Staff offer a vast range of activities that children find inspiring, challenging and absorbing.

Staff build an excellent rapport with the children and help them to settle quickly into the camp. They liaise exceptionally well with parents and gather information from them about their children's abilities and character.

Parents and children provide extremely positive feedback about their experiences of the camp. Children say they have 'amazing fun' and parents say the camp is 'brilliant'.
