Lab Rats is exclusively for the younger kids attending our school holiday camps – that’s children aged four-and-a-half to eight.
We’ve brought together a bunch of exciting experiments that will get them thinking about science and the world around them.
In groups of up to eight children, they’ll make their own bouncy balls and build model bridges. Then there’s the chance to create a seething, foaming volcano, as well as other “earth-shattering” activities.
Over five structured sessions, we’re teaching problem solving skills to kids who won’t realise they’re learning because they’re having too much fun to notice.
Movers and shakers
Dance Fusion will get them in a spin!
Kids will love trying a new genre each day of the week, giving them the opportunity to explore a wide range of different dance styles and develop new skills.
Ideal for 7 - 13 year olds, they'll build their strength and develop stamina and coordination in these energetic sessions. On the last day, they'll chose their favourite style of the week to perform for each other.
They’ll come back home brimming with confidence after picking up new dance skills and techniques.
Next stop, West End!
Make a splash
Swimming is so much more than one of our most popular camp activities for kids – it’s a valuable life skill that can save lives.
That’s why we run a beginners Swim School, at our camps with pools, for children attending our school holiday camps who perhaps don’t have confidence in the water.
Over five structured sessions, run by life guards and qualified instructors, beginners become swimmers as coaches stoke up their self-belief.
With groups limited to five, each learner gets the attention they need as they build their confidence and ability in the water.
Hit the road
Motor Mania is where it’s at for motor heads aged 7 - 13 at our school holiday camps.
They’ll get to hone their driving skills on tarmac and grass using our selection of electric go-karts and quad bikes.
But it’s not just about racing – we’ll get them up to speed on road safety, signals and basic mechanics. Remember, we’re all about minds, as well as bodies.
Safety equipment is supplied for the five one-hour sessions. Children will need to wear a face mask with the helmet and please also be sure to send your child in long trousers if they’re aiming to become a star of the test track!
Football fanatics: Standalone weekly course
We introduced our standalone specialist football courses at selected locations in 2021 and they're back again this year by popular demand! There are 28 places available on each week long course for children aged 7-12 years.
The Barracudas format and structure led by trained coaches, will develop their football skills and techniques. Each day there’ll be a mixture of workshop, classroom and practical sessions to progress your child’s development. Also covering health and wellbeing, the Football Camp will be a hugely positive experience for kids.
We're working with Norwich City CSF, Palace for Life Foundation and West Ham United Foundation this summer at selected camps.
Whilst this course is organised and operated by official football foundations, you'll have the full Barracudas experience with this camp, including our fantastic registration processes, policies and First Aid provision. We also have Early and Late Clubs which can be added in the usual way if you need extra flexibility in their day.
