So, our summer camps are now all closed and we had a fantastic final week of the season!
We had oodles of fun at our remaining 24 camps and are sad to have said au revoir to all our fantastic children and seasonal staff. We look forward to welcoming everyone back again next time.
Here’s just a snapshot of some of the things we got up to last week at camp:
Sharing is caring
We’ve loved seeing what children are doing at our summer camps with our daily Instagram takeovers and TikToks. The energy has been amazing this summer.
We loved seeing what some of our camps got up to this week in our camp TikToks. Twickenham St Catherine’s Camp Manager was wondering if she could be amazing today as she was so amazing yesterday! Of course, she was absolutely amazing every day! Staff at Norwich showed their appreciation for being treated to ice creams by the Camp Manager. Good times!
Another fine set of Instagram takeovers by our summer camps. Norwich took us on a whistle stop tour of the fantastic camp facilities and showed us some fun rounders, tennis and motorsports sessions. One of our newest camps this year, Newbury, entertained us with Billy time, Minnows chant, swimming, kin ball, motor sports, bouncy castle, water polo, balloon making, the weekly theme, a fairy trail, Billy hunt and a dance party! Chislehurst had a fab day on Friday with Friday Finale fun, team introductions, motor sports, speed stack tower, fencing, water session, parachute games, a dance routine with Billy, Barracudas got talent and soak the staff charity fundraising.
Our last weekly theme of the summer was ‘Colours of the Rainbow’. Children enjoyed lots of their favourite activities tweaked to the theme throughout the week. As always, we ended on a high with our Friday Finale with a special event at camp and the opportunity for children to dress up.
What parents had to say
We’re committed to providing amazing experiences for every child at camp. We also aim to satisfy our bookers with easy processes and convenience. Here’s what parents said about us last week:
“My daughter was so excited to go back to the Barracuda camp in Ware after her first day! That is review enough. Great place, facilities and team. Highly recommend.” Urszula
“Summer camp ends for another year. My daughter had a wonderful 4 weeks with you. She was sad to say goodbye and leave her new friends behind. Happy memories made. And great staff. Well done camp manager Katie @Salisbury barracudas.” Maria
“A great summer for my 2 children, 5 and 10! A wide variety of activities, excellent facilities and well organised, with secure drop off and collection. Easy to book. Highly recommend the Sevenoaks camp!” Mrs Newman
“Barracuda in St. Catherine Twickenham has been an incredible find for my family during the summer holidays. My daughter attended their holiday club for two consecutive last years, and I must say, it's been an absolute delight. The team at Barracuda creates an environment that's not only safe and well-organized but also incredibly fun and engaging for the kids. My daughter, who can be a bit shy initially, blossomed in their summer program. The variety of activities they offer is impressive, from sports to arts and crafts, ensuring that every child finds something they enjoy. What stood out to me was the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff. They genuinely seem to care about the kids' well-being and happiness. It's no surprise that my daughter couldn't wait to go back for a second year. The fact that she attended Barracuda's holiday club two years in a row speaks volumes about the quality of experience they provide. As a parent, I value the peace of mind that comes with knowing your child is in good hands and having a fantastic time. Barracuda in St. Catherine Twickenham delivered on both fronts. If you're looking for a top-notch holiday club that your kids will love, I wholeheartedly recommend Barracuda.” Payal
“Romford Barracudas we’re excellent (2nd year in a row) with providing amazing and engaging activities for my child to grow her personality and confidence” Charit
“The first year we’ve used Barracudas but a huge thumbs up. Very well organised, friendly staff and a range of activities that went down very well in the Salisbury Barracudas camp. I would definitely recommend.” Brendan
So another summer season done! We’ve made lots of memories this summer and have loved keeping children active, entertained and developing skills and confidence.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to camp again soon.
