October Half Term 2025 brought a burst of autumn excitement across our Barracudas camps! As the leaves turned and the adventures began, we welcomed children for another week of fun, friendship, and unforgettable experiences.

At Barracudas, our mission never pauses; we’re always striving to give every child such an amazing experience they can’t wait to come back. To make sure we’re delivering the very best, we ask parents to share their honest feedback at the end of every season.

These surveys are a key part of how we grow. They help us celebrate what we do exceptionally well, fine-tune areas that could be improved, and explore new ways to make parents’ lives easier and children’s holidays truly magical.

The overwhelming reason parents booked with us this October was simple; as working parents, they needed reliable, high-quality childcare during the school holidays. We completely understand how important it is to find somewhere safe, flexible and trusted when school’s out.

This October, 96% of parents told us our team were friendly, energetic, and supportive throughout their child’s time at camp.

An amazing 94% of parents said they’re likely to book again after their October camp experience. That loyalty means the world to us!

💚 Would You Recommend Us?

We’re always thrilled to hear that parents don’t just enjoy their Barracudas experience and they recommend us to others too! This October, 91% of parents said they would recommend Barracudas to friends and family.

That feedback feeds directly into our Net Promoter Score (NPS); a measure of how likely parents are to recommend us based on their experience.

We’re delighted that our October NPS score of 59 puts us firmly in the excellent category, a reflection of the trust, loyalty, and satisfaction our families continue to show. ('0' considered good, above 20 is great, above 50 is amazing)

"My daughter was greeted warmly, made friends easily and spoke endlessly about the fun day she had (always a good sign I think!). “This was our first time using Barracudas, we used Hemel Hempstead over October half term. I was a bit anxious on the first day, as this was the first time we’ve used a holiday camp for our little girl (aged 4) who has just started school. All the information beforehand was v helpful & drop off was great, the team were warm and welcoming. Our daughter loved it. The activities and facilities were brilliant, she even went swimming with the group leader (she normally hates getting into the water!). She talks about ‘camp’ and asks if we can go again! So we’ll definitely be using in the future. As full time working parents, we’re lucky to have found Barracudas.”
