What a brilliant beginning to our Easter camp season! Despite a week of classic spring weather; think chilly breezes mixed with bursts of sunshine, our camps have been full of energy, laughter, and colour. With 37 camps open across the country, it’s safe to say we’ve well and truly sprung into action.
This week’s theme, Creative Colours, has brought a vibrant buzz to every camp. From bold art projects to colourful team challenges, it’s been amazing to see children diving into activities, making new friends, and embracing everything Easter camp has to offer.

Staff member of the week
We're really proud of our amazing on-camp staff, who work so hard to make sure Barracudas delivers amazing experiences to every child, every day. This week we're celebrating Eliza from our Horsham camp. Here's what our Camp Manager said:
"In recognition of her outstanding progress and commitment. She confidently manages groups, delivering excellent structured sessions, and demonstrating clear readiness to step into a Group Leader role. Additionally, she volunteered to complete a six-hour MA training course on Monday and has since delivered exceptional sessions. Her dedication was further recognised by our Area Manager, who noted how consistently she goes above and beyond."
Well done, Eliza! Thanks for all your hard work, enthusiasm and committment to excellence ❤️
A Special Full-Circle Moment ❤️
One of the most heartwarming highlights this week was welcoming Charlie, Zara and Luca to camp for the very first time. Their families have deep roots with us; Luca’s dad, Matt, and Zara's Dad, Nat, are two of our long-standing Area Managers, and Charlie’s mum, Emily, not only attended camp as a child but went on to work on camp and now leads our Recruitment team.
Moments like this remind us that Easter camp isn’t just about school holiday fun, it’s about community, memories, and growing up together. It really does become part of the family.
Looking Ahead 👀
We’re not slowing down anytime soon! Next week, we’re opening four more camps and diving into our brand-new theme: Super Explorers.
We can’t wait for another week of adventure, discovery, and unforgettable Easter camp moments. 🌟
