What a difference a bit of sunshine makes! This week at Easter camp has been filled with blue skies, warm spring days, and non-stop outdoor fun. With 41 camps open, the energy across our camps has been incredible and our Super Explorers theme has taken things to a whole new level.
Weekly Theme: Super Explorers 🧭🌍
Our Super Explorers Weekly Theme has been at the heart of everything we’ve done this week at Easter camp. Children have been discovering new skills, building confidence, and embracing adventure through a huge variety of activities.
From woodland trails and orienteering to creative challenges, team-building missions and imaginative games, our explorers have been busy navigating, creating and collaborating. Whether they were cracking codes, tackling obstacle courses, or working together in team challenges, it’s been all about curiosity, confidence and trying something new.
Head Office Out & About 👀
While our fantastic Area Managers are always on hand supporting camps, this week also saw plenty of visits from our Head Office team. These visits are a really important part of what we do; giving us a chance to experience camp first-hand, connect with teams and children, and make sure everything is running just as it should.
Across 21 visits, there were so many brilliant moments:
Our marketing team captured some amazing “day in the life” content at Letchworth and St Albans
Our compliance officer had a fantastic visit at our Bedford camp
Karen, Barracudas Director, visited Chigwell and Woodford, seeing high-energy camps packed with outdoor activities and a brilliant atmosphere
Teams were able to top up resources, support sessions, and celebrate all the great work happening on camp
Most importantly, these visits help us stay close to the real camp experience, something we truly value.

Staff member of the week
We're really proud of our amazing on-camp staff, who work so hard to make sure Barracudas delivers amazing experiences to every child, every day. This week we're celebrating Cleo from our Sevenoaks camp. Here's what our Camp Manager said:
"Cleo has truly earned Staff Member of the Week for her outstanding dedication and positive impact. As a Group Leader, she consistently goes above and beyond to support both her team and the children in her care. Her sessions were engaging, energetic, and full of fun, with children clearly enjoying every moment. Cleo’s excellent communication skills and her ability to model high-quality work make her a fantastic role model for new staff.."
Well done, Cleo! Thanks for bringing all your care and energy to help create amazing experiences at camp ❤️
