As with all Barracudas experiences, the emphasis is as always about having FUN! Teamwork is also well practiced throughout the camp with lots of the activities seeing young people working together to conquer challenges!
Two great locations to choose from, both offering beautiful surroundings, modern accommodation, dining facilities and high adrenaline activities!
Delivered by PGL, activities at both sites are wide ranging and include high ropes, zip wires, climbing, abseiling, raft building, paddle boarding, problem solving challenges, giant swing to name just a few. Our young people will be supported at all times by energetic staff, highly trained in all activities and welfare requirements.
The children will be grouped according to the following age groups for accommodation and activities - 8-11 year olds, 11-13 year olds and 13-16 year olds. The overlap between age ranges allows for some flexibility. For example, a primary school 11 year old may be grouped with the 8-11 age group, whereas a secondary school 11 year old may join the 11-13 age group.
Nutritious meals will be provided three times a day with a wide range of options to suit all dietary requirements. There’s also a camp tuck shop for treats and gifts!
Safety at the camp is paramount. The camps are registered with Ofsted and all activities are regulated by governing bodies. Our partner PGL are founding members of British Activity Providers Association (BAPA) and are also subject to Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) regulations.
