The results are in for Romford summer camp
Barracudas Romford camp was visited by the officials from Ofsted for the first time this summer and we’re delighted to report that we’ve been awarded a Good rating.
Our Romford camp has been registered with Ofsted since 2017 and this is the camps first inspection. We’re thrilled that our Romford camp meets our high standards and has received a Good rating by the professionals.
The inspector noted
Children settle in easily and are eager to come back the next day. They are confident and are encouraged to make their own choices about the activities they want to take part in.
Staff provide activities and resources that help reflect the seven areas of learning. Staff provide children with many active play experiences at camp. For instance, children learn how to fence and mould and make clay figures, and they enjoy treasure hunts, following clues all around camp.
Staff develop good relationships with children and encourage them to make friends with each other.
