This summer, we're inviting you and your kids to make your own Grass Heads ahead of our summer camps!
As a bit of fun, to entertain the kids before our childrens camps open, we've created Barracudas Grass Heads.
How to make your Barracudas Grass Heads
Thing's you'll need
Cut off about 20cm of a stocking or a pair of tights. Then stretch it over a cup or a mug. Pop amount two teaspoons of your Barracudas grass seeds in & then top with compost. Packing it in tightly.
Tie the end in a knot & cut off the excess end (aim for a tennis ball sized ball). Then create a nose by pinching a small section & twisting it. Secure with an elastic band or wool.
Next … DECORATE! Have fun creating a character. Create a face, you could use wool, string and googly eyes! Next design an outfit on your yoghurt pot.
Pop a little bit of water into the bottom of the pot & place your head ontop, dangling the knot in the water. Sprinkle a little water on to the head.
Now watch it grow. Or maybe you could create a whole family!
Share your pics with us!
Take photos of you making your Barracudas Grass Heads or send us some of your finished ones fully grown. We would love to see them!
We hope this helps to keep them busy ahead of Barracudas summer camps this year...
