- Why Barracudas?
Last week we had an amazing time at our Huntingdon half term camp at Hinchingbrooke School.
We got up to all sorts and the children had a great selection of activities they could choose from such as archery, arts and crafts, go-karts, dodgeball and even the famous Quidditch!
Our Skill Builders all had a great time this week with their singing, dancing, swimming and science experiments.
On Monday the Lab Rats team created bouncy balls and on Thursday they learnt about the chemical reaction of Coke and mentos. They even got to erupt their own volcano which can be seen in the video below!
Billy paid a visit
Not only did the kids have a visit from Billy, they also had a visit from little Billy too! The kids loved meeting Billy and they couldn’t wait to have their photos taken with him. Billy even had a sneaky go in the airplane the Barracudas group made earlier on in the week!
During camp, we all celebrated Valentine’s Day, so we spent the week creating Valentine’s cards and gifts for our friends and families. Check out what the Minnows created and stuck to their ceiling.
Of course, this is only a fraction of what we got up to during half term – there were plenty more activities that happened throughout the week, but for now here are some of our favourite pictures!
We’re sad that the week has to come to an end, but no fear, we will be back in 6 week’s time for our popular Easter camps!
