- Why Barracudas?
School’s out for summer – but our camp activities for kids keep their minds engaged as well as their bodies.
One of the goals of our school holiday camps is to help your child develop new skills and interests that boost their confidence and help build them into well-rounded individuals.
We lay on additional summer camp activities for kids of all age groups that you can sign your youngsters up for during their time with us for an additional fee.
We can promise they’ll have fun learning on our Skill Builder Courses.
Lab Rats is exclusively for the younger kids attending our school holiday camps – that’s children aged four-and-a-half to eight.
We’ve brought together a bunch of exciting experiments that will get them thinking about science and the world around them.
In groups of up to eight children, they’ll make their own bouncy balls and build model bridges. Then there’s the chance to create a seething, foaming volcano, as well as other “earth-shattering” activities.
Over five structured sessions, we’re teaching problem solving skills to kids who won’t realise they’re learning because they’re having too much fun to notice.
Set the stage for superstardom
If your daughter’s a drama queen or your son’s sure he’s set for superstardom, UpStage! could be just the thing for them.
It’s one of our popular camp activities for kids aged seven to 13 ... and it appeals to youngsters with showbiz ambitions.
They’ll come back home brimming with confidence after picking up skills in character creation, improvisation, mask movement, mime and stage make-up.
And with groups limited to 10 participants, no one misses out on personal attention from the learned luvvies passing on the tricks of the trade.
Next stop, the red carpet!
Make a splash
Swimming is so much more than one of our most popular camp activities for kids – it’s a valuable life skill that can save lives.
That’s why we run a Swim School for seven to 13-year-olds attending our school holiday camps who perhaps don’t have confidence in the water.
Over five structured sessions – run by life guards and qualified instructors – beginners become swimmers as coaches stoke up their self-belief.
With groups limited to five, each learner gets the attention they need as they build their confidence and ability in the water.
Hit the road
Motor Mania is where it’s at for petrolheads aged seven to 13 at our school holiday camps.
They’ll get to hone their driving skills on tarmac and grass using our selection of go-karts and quad bikes.
But it’s not just about racing – we’ll get them up to speed on road safety, signals and basic mechanics. Remember, we’re all about minds, as well as bodies.
Safety equipment is supplied for the five one-hour sessions – but be sure to send your child in long trousers if they’re aiming to become a star of the test track.
