New hula hooping film to get kids trying new activities?

Summary: A new film on hula hooping may encourage youngsters to try the activity to boost fitness levels.

Children going to summer camps may be interested to hear that hula hooping is one of the latest fitness crazes in the UK and America, according to the Times.
A new documentary called The Hooping Life has been created and it explores the origins of the activity and it looks at how the sport now has a celebrity following.
Christabel Zamor appears in the film and she told the newsprovider that she was introduced to hula hooping by a friend.
She revealed: "I was intrigued and began practicing in the local park. People began stopping to ask what I was doing and then gradually started joining in. It took off from there."
Michelle Obama, Carmen Electra and Beyonce are just some of the celebrities who hula hoop to keep fit.
A hula hoop dancer called Pippa the Ripper got through to the next round of Britain's Got Talent on April 17th after using a number of hoops in her hula routine.
