Children 'loved day camp from the start'

Children can fall in love with day camp after their very first experience of it, a mother has said.

Writing on her Semadeni Stories blog, mother-of-three Beth revealed that her children recently went to day camp for the first time and enjoyed it despite some initial reservations.

"It was a little overwhelming for everyone the first day, but the kids loved it and cannot wait to go back," she explained.

Furthermore, Beth said that day camp allowed her children to try new activities, such as arts and crafts, dodgeball, archery and swimming.

The mum also explained that after the success she and her kids have had with day camp, she will definitely be enrolling them next summer.

Last week, WriterGirl_16 revealed on snare-drummer.blogspot.com that she intends to make the most out of summer camp this year, as it could be the last one she is able to attend.

The blogger also credited camp with changing her life, adding that she "wouldn't be who I am today without this amazing place".
