94% of our parents last year said they would recommend Barracudas to a friend. If that was you, why not recommend a friend for 2012 and you’ll receive a free day with us?
You could tell your friends we’re fully Ofsted registered, or maybe that we have a huge range of activities and offer flexible booking options, but more importantly, don’t forget to tell them that the kids love it! However you spread the word we’d like to say thank you by giving you a FREE Friday!
This FREE day is available on any Friday that we are open during Easter or summer. Places are limited to just 12 FREE places per camp per Friday, so hurry and recommend your friend today!
In order to claim your free day, your friend must book at least one full week with us in 2012. All you need to do is give your friend your customer ID number, which they must quote at the time of their booking. Once they’ve confirmed their booking you can then call us to book your ‘FREE day Friday’ and we’ll send out your booking confirmation.
What’s more, you can use your FREE Friday even if you’re booking a whole week with us, just call our sales team and we’ll work out the best deal for you including your FREE day!
As we know this will be a popular offer, we have had to limit this to one FREE Friday per customer.
This offer cannot be used against existing bookings and no cash alternative is available.

To apply for a contribution from the fund our summer staff were asked to explain what charity, programme, event or business venture they were involved in and how money from the fund would contribute to their projects and help make a difference. Our successful applicants and what they hoped to achieve are:
Justin Lewis- Wokingham Camp
Justin will be teaching English and PE in schools in Thailand, this will give him the opportunity to work with local Thai children and set up a successful programme with some extra curricular activities for the children to take part in outside of the classroom.
Emily Smith- Ripley camp
Emily’s nephew Harrison was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Emily and her family have set up Harrisons fund to raise money in hope to find a cure.
Dave Thorogood- Hertford Camp
Dave would like to use the money to help complete the production of his band ‘The Kubricks’ album. He also planned to manufacture it on CD which he hopes will be able to help promote the band and get it into the shops!
Claire Loveridge- Wokingham
Claire went to Thailand to work at an orphanage ‘Greenways Singburi Camp’ for two weeks where she ran activities to promote peer interaction and help the children learn the English language. She then went onto an elephant sanctuary where she helped feed and exercise the elephants.
Rainbow Trust Children's Charity
Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers are contactable 24 hours a day for families in crisis from diagnosis, through treatment and even after bereavement.
Thankfully this is something that most of us won't have to experience, but for families with terminally ill children Rainbow Trust can be a real comfort and support. Barracudas are aiming to raise £5,000 for Rainbow Trust in 2012 and there are several ways that you can support Rainbow Trust through Barracudas - please look out for them and help make a difference to these families. Rainbow Trust relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and through the generosity of supporters helps around 1,170 families a year.
