Barracudas is the leading day camp operator not just because we are the most popular with children, but because we also meet the needs of parents.
Barracudas Day Camps are for children aged 4 1/2 - 16 years, who want to try new activities, meet new friends of the same age and most importantly have fun! What better way can there be to break up the long summer holidays?
When you book with Barracudas you can choose anything from one day to six weeks, and opt for a range of Intensive courses.
Our camps are open from 8.30am - 5.30pm. Busy parents can also take advantage of our AM and PM Clubs, which provide extra time at the beginning and end of the day. Quite simply, we tailor our dates and times to suit you, and our activity programme to suit your children.

Theme Days
Increasingly over the years, more and more of our camps have been running ‘themed days’ from Pirates to Odd Socks to Silly Hat Days! In 2007 we set various themes for the camps to all take part in, which proved to be very successful and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Due to this popularity we have decided to once again make these themed days an integral part of the Barracudas experience and as such will be operating a theme day once at week at all of the camps.
These days will take place on the Wednesday of each week. The themes and dates are as follows
Week A – My Hero Wednesday 16th July 2008
Week B – Peter Pan & Friends Wednesday 23rd July 2008
Week C – Beach Party Wednesday 30th July 2008
Week D – When I grow up…. Wednesday 6th August 2008
Week E – Pirates Wednesday 13th August 2008
Week F – Olympic Festival Wednesday 20th August 2008
All themes have been designed so that children and parents can put as much or as little into the preparation as they want. Parents should not feel pressured to make or buy a costume, as the theme is only set as a guideline. Our staff will also be on hand on the day to offer additional help with costumes or themed ideas. Most of all we want the children to have fun and take part in the special activities on offer.
